The Mayor or Liverpool gets with the Camp

Our new retail premises was officially opened on 18th January 2012 at 1.30pm by the Lord and Lady Mayoress of Liverpool.

Our event kicked off with delightful vocals by Miss Holly Ellison followed by nibbles and drinks and a mini cupcake decorating session with the Lord Mayor, the girls from Dollymix Professional Make-up studio, Jaiden Michael (Desperate Scousewives) and James Michael (xfactor) who donned Camp Cupcake Couture aprons to get themselves in the decorating mood.

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who made our event special, and heres to a successful year ahead.

Camp Cupcake launches our new retail shop

Our new retail shop launched last week and is now based at 319 Smithdown Road, Liverpool, L15 oEB.

With our new shop, we are able to provide you with a range of different flavoured cupcakes for you to walk in and buy. We also have a range of baked patstries and bars, such as millionaires shortbread, baked raspberry cheesecake to chocolate scones and pear tart tatan.

We are also able to offer our Cupcake Decorating Parties on any day you require. You will be invited to celebrate you birthday party, hen do or corporate event in our special little party room.

Come down and see us at our new home. The bakery is still up and running and if you prefer you can still collect your orders direct from there.

Cupcake Decorating Parties, at Camp Cupcake Liverpool

Camp Cupcake decorating parties

Whether it’s for a Childs birthday, a hen do, or simply a team building session for your staff, Camp Cupcake decorating parties are an ideal way to bring people together, have lots of fun and make a hell of a lot of mess.

What do you do?

Each party is themed slightly differently depending on the age of participants, but basically we:

Learn how to dye and mix buttercream
Learn how to dye and mix sugarpaste
Use cutters, moulds and tools to create our own decorations
Learn how to prepare and use a piping bag
Learn the different types of swirls that can be achieved from different types of nozzles
Pipe buttercream onto our cupcakes
Dress our cupcakes using the decorations we’ve made
Use silly amounts of glitter and sparkly stuff to make our cupcakes fabulous
Make as much mess as possible

Due to hygiene reasons all decorations and cupcakes you make on the premises you get to take home with you. We even give you a professionally decorated cupcake to take home complete in a little presentation box.

A little bit more about the sessions

The sessions are £20 per person with a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 12 at present. We may be able to cater for more than this at one time, so please feel free to enquire.

The sessions are held at our premises, which is a working bakery and can only last for 1 hour. We do allow an additional ½ hour for singing “happy birthday”, taking pictures and if the party is for children, a few party games. We appreciate all this fun is thirsty work, so a glass of juice will also be provided.

So, if you like the sound of being able to create your own cupcakes, have fun and make a huge mess, then our parties are for you. Please contact us for further information and bookings.

National Cupcake Week Liverpool 12 – 18 September 2011

Camp Cupcake’s Cupcake Party.

To coincide with the activities of National Cupcake Week, Camp Cupcake are to play host to a Cupcake Party to be held on 17 September 2011, outside our bakery at Parliament Business Park, Commerce Way, Liverpool, L8 7BA, from 12 – 5pm.

The family orientated fun day will consist of bouncy castle, face painting, birds of prey display, climbing wall, music, games and not forgetting our delicious cupcakes.

The event is free for anyone to attend and will start at 12pm – 5pm.

It is also Natasha’s birthday on the 17th so anyone who wishes to bring a birthday card (name and contact number included) will stand the chance of winning a giant cupcake to take away with them on the day.

All you have to do to earn your little bite of heaven is to use your mobile device to “Check in” at Camp Cupcake when collecting your order. Show us the proof that you’ve “Checked in”, via Facebook, and we’ll show you the cupcake.
